Emergency Vet Care:
OCTOBER 2009
. . . adult dog fell from roof suffered neurological damage treatment given but dog was not reeturned for further treatment as advised so it's possible that it did not survive.
. . . 5 month old Dalmation treated for fractured tibia. Owner never returned so the dog was taken to the animal shelter.

JULY 2009
. . . Four-month-old puppy with nearly comatose with high fever and prolapsed rectum. Doctor could not save so so the animal was humanely euthanized.
. . . Adult poodle hit by car treated for fractured rear leg.
. . . Adult poodle treated for a mammary tumor and spayed on the same day.
. . . Adult poodle treated with IV and meds for severe gastroenteritis. Owner agreed to spaying when the dog is better.
. . . Puppy treated for a head injury as a result of a fall from a roof. Owner will bring dog in to be spayed when it is old enough.
JUNE 2009
. . . Emergency surgery performed on a daschund that had swallowed a sewing needle. Needle had lodged in the trachea and abcessed. The owner also agreed to have the dog spayed at the same time.
. . . Adult male Labrador needed back leg reconstruction after being hit by a car. Dog was neutered the same day.
. . . Eight-year-old Poodle treated for an infected sore.
. . . Sick Chow was given a free consult and owner paid for the necessary medications.
. . . Puppy ate a large nail and had to have it surgically removed. Owner never returned to pick up the dog so vets adopted it out. New owner agreed to spay it at six months of age.
. . . Neutered German Shepherd was treated for a fractured foot that resulted from being hit by a car.
MAY 2009
. . . Adult Husky was treated for a compound fracture (hit by car) and was neutered the same day.
. . . Four-week-old kitten missing lower 1/3 of hind leg was treated for infection. Owner agreed to spay when older if the kitten survives.
. . . Six-month-old female Chihuahua treated for injured eye. Owner will make spay appointment when returns the dog for its checkup..

. . . Puppy treated for diarrhea and vomiting. Owner agreed to spay at six months.

FEBRUARY 2009
. . . Six-month-old male poodle brought in after vomiting for one week. Treated for injury to trachea. Owner agreed to neuter when throat heals..
. . . Adult female dog in extreme pain received surgery for a huge vaginal tumor.
. . . Adult female dog treated for multiple tumors and spayed the same day.
. . . Adult male dog treated for sexually transmitted tumor and teeth problems.
. . . Surgery to remove dead puppies from female dog. Spayed at the same time.
JANUARY 2009
. . . Adult male dog received surgery to pin fractured tibia that had been set badly. Neutered the same day.
. . . Adult female dog treated for tumor related to a sexually transmitted disease.
. . . Adult male dog that was hit by a car was treated for brain swelling and a fractured hip. Surgery was required to pin the broken hip and the dog was neutered the same day.
. . . Adult male dog brought to vet after being injured by a barbed wire fence several days earlier. Had a 12-inch-long injury on its shoulder that required surgery to remove extensive dead tissue and to drain the infection. Neutered the same day.
